Question 1

How large can my party be?

Accepted Answer

We can accommodate larger groups in multiple rooms, up to 31 people at once (with up to 50 in multiple rounds).

Question 2

How much does it cost?

Accepted Answer

For a corporate event, the price will be $36 per escape room adventurer. Typically we are open to the public on Thursday nights, Friday nights, and all day Saturday and Sunday.
There is a $100 private room rental fee to open during our off-hours. To book this reservation, we will check on staff availability, then will need contact info (contact name, company name, cell phone and email) and credit card information to pay for the minimum amount of people you expect. At that time we will ask which rooms you would like your group to play, and verification of your expected arrival time. You can call us at (603)498-8997.

Question 3

Can we have food or drink?

Accepted Answer

We do not have enough space for catering, but many of our parties do go to one of the local restaurants in town after their adventure. For parties larger than 8 people, we suggest Flatbread Co Portsmouth or Thirsty Moose Portsmouth. There are many amazing restaurants within a block or two of our downtown location. Question 4

What if severe weather is predicted?

Accepted Answer

Monkey Mind Escape Rooms will be happy to reschedule your adventure if severe weather is predicted. We will try to remain open as long as electricity and internet providers are operating, and our staff can arrive/leave safely. Cancellations made within 24 hours will be issued a credit to be used at a later time. If you would like to reschedule your reservations, please call us at (603)498-8997 or email us at info@monkeymindescape.com.

Question 5

How will my team be divided between the rooms?

Accepted Answer

When you arrive we can break your group into two or more rooms of 4-8 people depending on your team size. You can have your teams already assigned or we can randomly assign them when you arrive. We will ask everyone if they have been to Monkey Mind Escape Rooms in the past and which rooms they have played.
Also, the Cursed Tomb and the Antidote have jump scares and sometimes participants will elect to have a different experience. We can accommodate participants in wheelchairs in the Cursed Tomb, the Antidote and Gates of Atlantis if they are assisted with able-bodied players. We can accommodate players that have other limitations as well, just ask.

Question 6

How does it work? How long will this take?

Accepted Answer

To help you with planning, here is a typical team building scenario. If you would like to arrive at 2:00pm, there will be a period of 15 minutes for all of the adventurers to use the restrooms and have an intro to their experience. Then everyone will be in their escape rooms from 2:15-3:15. After successfully escaping, there is about a 10 minute period of picture taking at the end. By 3:30pm you will all be ready to head off to your next “adventure”.Typically we are open to the public on Thursday nights, Friday nights, and all day Saturday and Sunday. There is a $100 private room rental fee to open during our off-hours. To book an off-hours reservation, we will check on staff availability and then we will need contact info (contact name, company name, cell phone and email) and credit card information to pay for the minimum amount of people you expect, which rooms you would like your group to play, and verification of your expected arrival time. You can call us at (603)498-8997.
