The first step in your night out with us is booking your tickets. Visit our book now page, where you’ll be able to see which rooms are available at what times, and be directed through the checkout process. While we do allow walk-ins, your room selection will be limited to whatever rooms happen to be available at the time, and you may have to wait. By booking ahead of time, you’ll be able to guarantee your spot at a given time.

When you arrive in Downtown Portsmouth, one of the first concerns of many is finding a place to park. While you can try and find street parking, there are a number of garages and lots that are nearby our location in Vaughan Mall. The Worth Lot, former home of the Whale Mural, is directly next to our building, at  25 Maplewood Avenue. Slightly further down the road, you can find additional parking at Hanover Garage at 34 Hanover Street. Finally, about a five minute walk to the west of our building is The Foundry Place Garage, at 100 Foundry Place.

If you arrive before your escape room is scheduled for, there’s plenty of spots to grab a quick bite to eat or drink. Coming by during the day? One of our top recommendations is Cheese Louise, located at 76 Congress Street.This trendy, casual eatery is excellent for lovers of the grilled cheese sandwich, but with many different interesting twists on the classic staple. If you’re looking for something fresh, quick, and casual, Cheese Louise is an excellent choice.

Looking for a more upscale setting to precede your evening with us? La Maison Navarre offers a delicious selection of french pastries, crepes, quiches, and sandwiches. Located at 121 Congress Street, this fancy downtown café also features an extensive selection of exotic and foreign wines at their wine bar. If you’re looking for a fancier pre-escape-room experience, or if you’d like to enjoy a cocktail before you play, La Maison Navarre is the perfect spot.

After your pre-game refreshments, now its time to enjoy your escape room! We ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled game time. This will give your hosts an opportunity to brief you, as well as make accommodations to ensure that your experience will be as enjoyable as possible! Our escape rooms take about an hour (possibly shorter if you’re an enthusiast!) so you can expect to be finished an hour from your scheduled time. Please accommodate for an extra 10 minutes on the tail end of your adventure, for check out and celebratory victory photos!

After you escape your room, your night’s not over yet! In fact, if you’re in Downtown Portsmouth in the evening, there’s no shortage of follow-up activities to continue your fun. Featuring excellent dinner stage shows, Jimmy’s is an excellent, and classy, way to finish off your night in Portsmouth with us.

This pizza joint is a mecca for both locals and tourists alike - don’t be surprised if you see a local travel soccer team celebrating their championship victory eating there alongside you!
