We are thrilled that you are considering Monkey Mind Escape Rooms for your group celebration. Here is some additional info for groups. You can see available times and book your adventure on our site.
Planning a weekend birthday party, retirement party, engagement party, etc? If any of the party participants are eligible for military, first responder, teacher, UNH, or PHS discounts you can apply a discount for the entire party. We require that you reserve the room(s) and pay for a minimum of 2 people in that(those) room(s) at the time of booking and the others can pay when they arrive (15 minutes before the reservation time). Bachelor / Bachelorette parties: The Bride-to-be or Groom-to-be is FREE, if all other participants are paying full price. We can change the room schedule to have 2 rooms start at the same time if you have over 8 participants, but need to know exactly which date, time and rooms you would like to reserve. In order to do that, you will need to pay for at least 2 people in each room at the time of booking, and the others can pay when they arrive (15 minutes before the reservation time). Mid-Week Private Group Rates & Corporate Events
Tickets are $34pp plus a private room rental of $100. This private room rental fee is to open, staff and run your event. 1 room per person takes about 2 hours which includes private time in our beautiful downtown suite. Two rooms per person will take about 3 hours. If all 4 rooms are filled to capacity, we can have up to 26 people in adventures at the same time. Contact us for quote & availability.

Additional information for about our rooms for groups:
Room: Stolen Diamond
The Cullinan diamond has been stolen and hidden in our office. Teams have an hour to locate it and save Bob’s life. This room is a traditional escape room and is appropriate for families and/or those who have never tried an escape room before. Capacity 6 with children & adults. We will allow for 6 paying children and 1 paying adult, but this would need for you to call or email us to increase the number of participants after you book.
Room: Legend Of The Shoals
Our NEWEST escape room based on the local lore of Captain John Quelch. Explore his secret hideout, unlock the mystery of his pirate maps, and help find his hidden crystal skull. We consider this our most challenging room. Capacity 6 people.
Room: The Antidote: A Time Traveler's Quest
The Antidote is the latest generation of sensory immersive escape rooms! Groups have an hour to help find a cure for an ailing woman in 1875, start up the time travel device and send the antidote to the past. This room is rated as intermediate/difficult. Capacity is 6 people.
Room: Cursed Tomb
This is a one-of-a-kind Hollywood style room that is just incredible! Groups have an hour to return the ancient scarab to the king to rid all the evil spirits. This room is very realistic and is a dimly lit with a startle jump scare. The Cursed Tomb is a PG-13 experience and recommended age is 12 and up. We consider this our intermediate room. Capacity 8 people.
Arrival:
Groups must arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled time. Please allow time for traffic and parking on busy days.
Waiver:
Waivers are required for everyone participating. Participating adults (18 and older) can sign the waiver when they arrive at Monkey Mind Escape Rooms. You may want your guests to have a waiver completed before you attend. If so, it can be downloaded below.
Ages:
Our rooms are designed for adult players, recommended age is 12 and up depending on their experience with escape rooms. Children under 16 years old must have an adult present in the room with them. We recommend that there is 1 adult for every 4 children who are participating.
Cakes:
We do not have enough space for birthday cakes, but many of our parties do go to one of the local bakeries in town for something special. This would include La Maison Navarra (directly below us), Popovers or Ceres Bakery. For bigger parties for a lunch/dinner, we suggest Flatbread or Thirsty Moose.
Location: There are two escape rooms in Portsmouth. Monkey Mind Escape Rooms is located in downtown Portsmouth. Enter the door on Vaughan Mall across from Pretty Little Things and next to Lithermans Brewing Company.
Parking: Easiest parking is in the Worth Lot (next to what was the old Whale Wall). The Hanover Street Garage or the Foundry Parking Garage are both within a block away. If travelling to our location by car and using GPS navigation, then use this link for the Worth Lot.
